Languagez Privacy Policy
Effective date: March 3, 2026.
Languagez is an on-device translation and transcription app developed and published by Innobytez. It does not require an account and does not use a custom Innobytez backend in the current app build.
Content And Permissions
When you choose the relevant feature, Languagez may access camera or microphone input, photos selected from your library, files selected through the system picker or share sheet, and speech-recognition input. The app uses this content to create transcripts, translations, thumbnails, captions, and exported media.
On-Device Storage
Imported and generated app data, downloaded language and speech models, chosen languages, playback options, and model state are stored on your device. You can delete downloaded translation and Whisper models from Settings, delete imported or generated data in the app, or remove the app and its local data through your operating system.
Network Use And Third Parties
Languagez works offline after the models needed for a feature have been downloaded. Google ML Kit downloads on-device translation models as needed and may contact Google for fixes, updated models, or compatibility information. Google states that ML Kit input content and results are processed on the device rather than sent to Google, but that the SDK sends API performance and utilization metrics.
Whisper and sherpa-onnx speech models are downloaded from the configured third-party model hosts. Platform speech-recognition features may rely on Apple or Google services, depending on your operating system and device settings.
Those providers, and your app store provider, may process ordinary download, device, network, crash, purchase, or billing information under their own privacy terms.
Analytics And Advertising
Languagez does not include advertising or a separate Innobytez analytics service. As described above, Google states that the ML Kit SDK sends API performance and utilization metrics to Google. Innobytez does not sell personal data.
